Mekong Delta Travel offers daily 2-days Mekong Delta Tour Ho Chi Minh to Phnom Penh. This Mekong Tour is planned for budget time travelers who wish to experience the Mekong Delta Vietnam – Cambodia.

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Be – Vinh Long – Chau Doc

In the morning

Commence your  Mekong Delta Tour Ho Chi Minh – Phnom Penh, our driver will pick you up at your hotel at 6:30 AM, and leave the busy Ho Chi Minh for rural Cai Be through farms and fields.

On the way, you stop to take photos at Tan An – a town surrounded by rice fields.

Upon arrival in Cai Be, we will take a motorized boat to visit Cai Be Floating Market . Here you can see the local people buying and selling on their boats.

In the afternoon

We take a boat ride through the maze of shady small canals to An Binh Island (Vinh Long) to visit the orchard garden and enjoy tropical fruits, and experience the locals in the area.

We have a nice chance for bicycle riding, roaming through the village and looking at the local business.

A stop will be landed on Vinh Long so that we visit on-land Vinh Long Market for experience the local activities. Then we will have our drive to Chau Doc.

Check in on arrival, have dinner and spend a night at your hotel in Chau Doc. 

Day 2: Chau Doc – Phnom Penh

In the morning

After breakfast, you will take the nice motorized boat trip to the floating village to visit the fish farm and to see how the local people raise fish on their floating house.

If time permit, you will visit the Cham people and their traditional  weaving village, their Muslim temple and the Arabic class for children.

at 7:10 am, you will board the speed boat for Phnom Penh. You will arrive in Phnom Penh about 1pm at the Sisowath Dock.
