Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City (Sai Gon) – MyTho – BenTre – TraVinh (Lunch, dinner)

Leave busy Saigon behind for the first town of Mekong Delta – Long An where we commence our riding through rice fields and fruit orchards. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. We cycle pass Rach Mieu Bridge and keep on country road to the island on winding road under the green coconut canopy – the coconut palms that make Ben Tre well-known. On arrival in Ben Tre town, we will cross Ham Luong Bridge and cycling 15 km to Mo Cay and onto a local ferry. We will take a boat cruise over branches of Mekong River into Tra Vinh province. We will have a short ride 5 km into the town, have dinner and stay the night in TraVinh.

Day 2: Tra Vinh – Can Tho (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

After get up early for walking around town; enjoy the morning fresh with many old trees in town, We will warm up with 8 km ride to the Ba Om, see old trees and discover Khmer pagoda nearby. Our first ride of the day 18km to discover more beautiful Theravada pagodas and experience the Khmer Monks daily life at Tra On town by the Mekong River, we then cross a bridge and keep riding 17 km further Binh Minh, crossing ferry to Can Tho for staying overnight. 

 Day 3: Can Tho – Rach Gia (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

You will have an early boat trip for visiting the Cai Rang floating market, and then have a deeper boat cruise on a quiet country road to take in the magnificent scenery and get close to the locals as they go about their daily custom. Then we cycle the local route along canal to Tan Hiep. Lunch break will be served en route. In the afternoon we cycle to the local ferry crossing onto Rach Gia, and stay overnight in Rach Gia.

Day 4: Rach Gia – HaTien (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

After ride along the coast to this border town, we will turn off main road for 15 km ride to Hon Chong beach; see the Cave Pagoda and the Father & Son islet. Keep riding to Ha Tien town, we will reach a little limestone mountain, mangrove swamp, beaches and rice fields that make Ha Tien its special scenery. Stay overnight in Ha Tien.

Day 5: Ha Tien – Chau Doc (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Cycling along the Vinh Te border canal onto Tri Ton, we pay a visit to the Ossuary, Well known as the killing field in Vietnam, followed by a ride up the sacred Sam Mountain with its panoramic landscape over the vast plains of the Mekong Delta and far into Cambodia.  Stay overnight in Chau Doc.

Day 6: Chau Doc – Cao Lanh – Cai Be (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Wake up early for a boat ride through an amazing riverside market and through fish-breading floating villages. We then pass more ferries and local road to Cho Moi before heading onto Cao Lanh, and riding through the rural area of Dong Thap province which is known as the main rice in Mekong Delta areas. We pass many immense rice fields along canals and rivers; continue on riding to Cai Be for the home stay night in Cai Be.

Day 7: Cai Be – Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Have a morning boat ride to experience the local floating market, and then we cycle around the islands, discover these orchards, and have more riding around Cai Be town. Have refresh and lunch will be serviced at the local. Our support van will pick us up and transfer to Ho Chi Minh City with an estimated drive 2 hours.
