Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay (L/D)

07.45am Our tour guide will come and pick you up at the hotel and depart for Ha Long Bay. After approximately three and a half hours, you will reach Hon Gai Pier, Ha Long City where you will board a boat. Enjoy the lunch on boat while cruising the magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay with its fascinating rock formations which arch out of the water. In the afternoon, the boat will anchor at Vung Vieng Fishing Village, and a tender will take you to visit one of the largest and oldest fishing villages in Ha Long Bay where you can discover the lives of the local. Next, visit a pearl farm where you can learn about the processes involved in farming the precious gemstones. Then, relax on the white sandy beach, swimming or kayaking around the picturesque limestone outcrops. As the cruise continues to Ban Chan Beach, enjoy your BBQ dinner and cooking class on board.

Day 2: Halong Bay – Lang Son (B/L/D)

After morning tea and coffee, start your morning by visiting Thien Canh Son Cave with millions of surprising stalactites and stalagmites. Here you will know why this place attracts the majority of people come to Vietnam.
10.30 Disembark Tuan Chau harbor, leave Ha Long Bay behind and drive to Lang Son Province. On the way, you will pass by the different beautiful countrysides. Upon arrival in Lang Son, visit Tay and Nung ethnic minority villages to discover their unique cultures.

Stay overnight in a hotel in Lang Son

Day 3: Lang Son – Cao Bang – Ban Gioc waterfall – Quang Uyen (B/L/D)

After breakfast at your hotel, you will travel to Ban Gioc waterfall, one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Northern Vietnam. Here you will be relaxing, soaking up the sublime atmosphere and taking photos.  Then take a 30-minute boat trip on the Quay Son River to touch China border. Next, visit Nguom Ngao “Tiger Cave” before returning to Quang Uyen Town where you will stay overnight in a homestay.

Day 4: Quang Uyen – Ba Be Lake (B/L/D)

After breakfast, hop on the car and start your journey to Cao Bang with a visit at Ba Be Lake. Stop for lunch along the way before arriving in Cho Ra around 13:30. From here, you will take a boat on Nang River which glides through the unspoilt wilderness of Ba Be National Park all the way to Puong Cave. Inside the 300 meter tunnel, there will be a great opportunity for you to witness the many interesting rock formations that have been created over the many years of erosion from the river. 
Continue the boat trip to Bo Lu – a village belongs to a Tay community whose main income comes from fishing and rice and corn cultivation. Dinner and stay overnight in Coc Toc Village at the edge of Ba Be Lake.

Day 5: ba Be Lake – Hanoi (B/L)

After breakfast, you will travel to Ba Be Forest, where you can discover spectacular rivers, deep valleys, natural caves and undulating mountains. Then take a visit at Pac Ngoi Village, a traditional stilt house settlement before entering Hua Ma Cave. Inside the cave, you will be able to see thousands of stalactites and stalagmites. This is one of the best caves in the northern Vietnam and is still relatively unknown making it feel like a true adventure. After exploring the cave, you will drive back to Ha Noi, stopping for lunch at a local restaurant on the way. You will arrive back at the hotel around 17.30.
