Mekong Delta Travel offers an amazing Cycle Vietnam  departing from Ho Chi Minh city. 

Join in this Cycle Vietnam, you will cycle through Ho Chi Minh, Cat Tien National Park, Dalat highlands, Nha Trang beach, Ninh Chu beach, Mui Ne beach, Vung Tau, Mekong Delta, and end up in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh to Cat Tien National Park, 145km distance, 50km cycling – L,D.

Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh and head north by our vehicle to Tan Phu town about 2 hours.

We will cycle from there to Cat Tien National Park, about 35 kilometers.

Check into the park and have lunch in Cat Tien National Park Restaurant. Afternoon, you’ll hiking through the jungle to see any kinds birds.

It is the the best place for bird watching in Southern Vietnam.

After few hours into the jungle, we’ll back in your room for shower and relaxing Until 6:30 pm we’ll take night spotting tour by jeep with an opportunity to see nocturnal animals of the park including deer, civet, snakes, and feral cats.

After that, we back into the restaurant for dinner.

Day 2: Cat Tien National Park to Da Lat Higlands, 175 km distance, 60 km cycling – B,L,D.

We’ll wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then bike through the jungle about 10 km and then 5km hike to Crocodile lake .

The hike will make easier by the thick umbrelle of trees above.

Finally, after an hours hiking, we arrive to the Crocodile lake. The lake is the biggest one in the lagoon system with its 2,500 ha area of water in the rainy season and you’ll have opportunity to see Siamese crocodiles.

After sightseeing crocodile lake, we’ll come back in the headquarter for check-out the rooms and lunch will be served after that.

After lunch, we ‘ll cycle from Cat Tien National Park to Da Teh village about 20km, you’ll bike on the narrow rural road through cashew farm, rice fields and arriving  in Da Teh market, where our support vehicle will transfer you to Da Lat about 3 hours.

Breathtaking scenery along the way with coffee and tea plantations, jungle blanketed valleys and pine forested hills. You’ll arrive in Da Lat late afternoon then check into hotel and have dinner .

we’ll overnight in Da Lat City.

Day 3: Da Lat to Nha Trang Beach, 140km distance, 50km cycling & 15km White Water Rafting – B,L,D.

After breakfast at your hotel then Mekong Delta Travel guide will transfer you to the northeast Da Lat on the new road via Bidoup Nui Ba park. It gains beautiful views of farms, countryside, and Nui Ba Mount.

The ride begins on the flat countryside road for 18 km down hill and up hill on the top of Bidoup National Park.

Then 32 km, uninterrupted downhill section is the longest of downhill. The spectacular mountain views are perfect for pictures along the way.

After reaching at the bottom of the pass, you will have short break for lunch.

After that, Mekong Delta Travel’s  guide will provide a short instructional briefing about Rafting and then you will float down on Khanh Le River for 3 hours at around 17km on the river.

You will passing some sections of rapids and the mountain scenery is imposing.  Arriving Khanh Nam village, where our raft is finish and then we will continue to Nha Trang Beach by our vehicle.

You will spent overnight in Beaches of Nha Trang, where  is possibly Vietnam’s most famous beach destination.

Nha Trang itself is one of the larger cities in Vietnam, and Nha Trang Beach is a massive, miles-long stretch of white sand and clear turquoise waters. The beach is stunning.

That, combined with Nha Trang’s popular nightlife scene, makes it a prime destination for both Vietnamese and international travelers.

This also makes the beach rather crowded in high season though, so if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing beach, Nha Trang probably isn’t your thing

Day 4: Boat Trip To 4 Islands in Nha Trang – B,L.

After breakfast at your hotel then Mekong Delta Travel guide will transfer to the harbor, then the vessel will take you to 4 islands on Nha Trang Bay

9:00-11:30 Visit Mun island: The sea surround Mun island is the first marine conversational area in Vietnam that protects 350 species of coral and marine creatures.

It takes approximately four to five meters from the coast; you will be amazed while diving to watch colorful coral reefs as well as beautiful fishes and many other sea creatures. You may also see the coral in glass bottom boat

11:30 – 12:30: Time for lunch. Travellers will enjoy lunch on boat with delicious and fascinating foods.

(such as fried shrimp, fried fish used with tomato sauce, spring rolls, cabbage soup cooked with shrimp and meat, vegetable fried noodles, water spinach sauteed with garlic, fried chopped egg, steamed rice, seasonal fruits for dessert)

12:30 – 14:00 Visit Mot island: After lunch, you will enjoy excellent music program “Dance Of Sea” by our band’s performances that promises to bring you moments of relaxation and leisure.

Soon, you will join with us in the “Floating Bar Party” on Mot island; enjoy cocktails and fruits along with music being harmony with small waves’ sound on the romantic blue sea.

14:00  – 15:45 Visiting Tranh beach: You can rest, relax on the beautiful beach.

You can also participate in water sports such as banana float, water motorbike, parachute pulled by boat (costs excluded). After visiting Tranh beach, visitor can enjoy the taste of the seasonal fruit on the vessel.

15:45 – 16:45 Visit Mieu island, Tri Nguyen Aquarium: The vessel will go ashore at Mieu island to explore the mystery of Tri Nguyen Aquarium designed to look like a stranded mysterious pirate ship on the reef.  

Aquarium is located on the ship – which displays many strange species of coral and marine life. Outside the ship, it is Lo Thien aquarium where travelers can buy food to lure turtles and fish going out of the water.

16:45. The vessel will take travelers back to Cau Da port and the bus will drive you back to the hotel.

Day 5: Nha Trang to Ninh Chu Bay, 110 km distance, 70 km cycling – B,L,D.

After breakfast, We will short transfer you to the south of Nha Trang City to the pretty little fishing harbors, where you will start to cycle on the more scenic and quieter airport road out of the city.

Keep to cycle on this road for 20 km until it crosses a bridge at the small fishing village of My Ca. After the brigde, you continue to bike on the quiet road until it meets Highway 1 after 10 km. You will have short break for lunch in a local restaurant.

After lunch, we will short transfer you to Nui Chua National Park, where you will cycle again on Nui Chua coastal road to the Vinh Hy Bay at around 25 km.

At Vinh Hy Bay, you will bear right into the village for refreshments and then bear left to continue to bike on the Nui Chua coastal road as it climbs up behind Vinh Hy Bay.

The mountain pass is 10km long with spectacular views.

You continue straight on to bike on the Nui Chua coastal road until it meets a new bridge connecting the Nui Chua coastal road with the Ninh Chu Beach  after 10 km.

You will arrive in Ninh Chu Beach at around 5:00pm. You will stay overnight at the Ninh Chu Beach.

Day 6: Ninh Chu to Red Sand Dunes of Mui Ne beach, 130km distance, 80km cycling – B,L,D.

After breakfast, you will bike from your hotel to Ca Na Habour  at about 40km through Hai Chu Commune heading to Son Hai town.

The ocean road is very quiet, with little traffic and even less amenities.  The coast is really exposed and there are some epic views along the way. It’s a pleasure to ride this section.

You will stop at Mui Dinh Lighthouse to see the immense sand running alongside the blue sea. Mui Dinh lighthouse, constructed by the French in 1904 at a height of 177 meters above the sea level, is still an integral part of the community serving vessels at sea.

This section of the road lasts for another 20 km before arriving in a flat salt-farm complex. Arriving in Ca Na Beach, where you will have short break for lunch.

The scenery in Ca Na is magnificent with the clean, blue sea, covered by the white sandbank and the mountains at the back. The atmosphere in Ca Na is also fresh and cool that makes you feel comfortable and refreshed. Furthermore, the night-time on this beach is awesome, especially when there is moonlight.

The sound of the wind and waves are mixed to become a harmonic song that cannot be forgotten. 

After lunch, we will short transfer to Lien Huong Commune at about 30km. You will cycle on ocean road through white and red sand dunes.

Arriving in Mui Ne Beach in the late afternoon. You will spent overnight in Mui Ne Beach.

Day 7: Mui Ne to Black Gold city of Vung Tau, 180km distance, 70km cycling – B,L,D.

After breakfast, we will short transfer you to out of Phan Thiet City at around 40 minutes to the Phu Thuy Village, where the riders will start to cycle on coastal road – it’s a smooth ride, through the biggest abundance of dragon fruit trees.

Riding through field after field of these long gangly-armed green monsters is quite an experience and you will stop to enjoy the dragon fruit in a local farms.

It’s a fishing town with some fantastic beaches in its surroundings.

After lunch, we will short transfer you to Binh Chau Village, you will cycle again from here to Black Gold City about 30 km more following coastal road, it’s a quieter road and again hugs the coast.

The road eventually sees some change and that is to a large golf course and resort in the town of Ho Tram. And then, our support vehicle will bring you to Black Gold City, where you will spent overnight.

Day 8: Vung Tau to Tien Giang of Mekong Delta, 156km distance, 35km cycling – B,L,D.

After breakfast, you will cycling around Black Gold City on your own until 11:30 am we will check out hotel and then go to have lunch.

After that, our support vehicle and guides will take you to My Tho City of Tien Giang Province, the gateway to Mekong Delta, about two and a half an hours.

Day 9: Tien Giang to Can Tho  of Mekong Delta, 115 km distance, 70 km cycling – B,L,D.

After breakfast, we start to bike to from your hotel, the gateway to Mekong Delta.

You will through the narrow lanes and witness colorful riverside life while pedaling past picturesque delta homes, and clack across innumerable wooden bridges to then we cycle through  fruits farm along the road.

You have short break for lunch in a local restaurant. 

After lunch,  you will  ride along a narrow dirt road during which we cross to bridges and pass through local farms. you’ll arrive in Vinh Long where our support vehicle will short transfer to Can Tho city, which is the capital of the Mekong Delta in Vietnam. We will spent overnight in Can Tho city.

Day 10: Boat Trip around Cai Rang Floating Market & 40km cycling – B,L.

We will wake-up early  in the morning to take the  boat trip to Cai Rang Floating Market to see before heading up a quiet canal.

Cai Rang Floating Market is one of the most popular in the Mekong Delta Vietnam which specializes in fruit trade, agricultural products in the region.

Every morning, hundreds of boats come here, side by side. Due to the needs of merchants in the Cai Rang Floating Market, there are not only boats for agricultural products, but many boats is served as: Noodles soup, coffee…services are thoughtful, quick even on waters sometimes agitated).

After sightseeing, you bike for 2 or 3 hours along backboards taking in the breathtaking Mekong Delta scenery and greeting locals (many of whom will also be on bicycle).

You have lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch, we short transfer back your hotel in Can Tho for relaxing. You will spent overnight in Can Tho.

Day 11: Can Tho to Ho Chi Minh City, 175 km distance, 70km cycling – B,L.

After breakfast, we will short transfer out side of City to Tra On village, where we will start to cycle on back road through huge rice fields, cycle pass Khmer temples, and Theravada monks hiking along rural roads in the countryside.

You will then keep cycling on paths to Co Chien river, and relax on 30 minutes on ferry on its crossing the upper branch to countryside of Ben Tre. Lunch will be served on the way at a local restaurant.

After lunch, continue biking through beautiful coconut plantations and heading to Ben Tre, where our support vehicle will transfer you to Ho Chi Minh at about one and a half an hours.

Arriving in Ho Chi Minh city then check in hotel and relaxing. You will spent overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh to Cu Chi Tunnels, 70 km distance, 35 km cycling – B,L,D.

We’ll pick you up early in the morning move to Cu Chi District about an hour. You’ll cycle through peaceful villages, to exploring agricultural landscapes and daily life of the local people in Cu Chi District.

You’ll stop at to sightseeing rice paper making where spring roll wrappings originate. You arrive in Cu Chi Tunnels area and, we will stop for lunch.

After lunch, you ‘ll visit to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels tops a highly memorable day of adventure and provides some historical context of Vietnam War.

Soldiers used these underground routes to house troops, transport communications and supplies, lay booby traps and mount surprise attacks, after which they could disappear underground to safety.

Visitors to Vietnam can now crawl through some of the safer areas of the tunnels, view command centers and booby traps, fire an AK-47 rifle on a firing range and even eat a meal featuring typical foods that soldiers living in the tunnels would have eaten.

After discovering the tunnels, we’ll return to Saigon at around 4:00 pm. you’ll spent overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 13: Ho Chi Minh City – B. You have free to explore in Ho Chi Minh city by yourself.

Day 14: Ho Chi Minh City – B.

You have free at leisure in Ho Chi Minh City  until Mekong Delta Travel’s guide will transfer  to Tan Son Nhat International airport for onward flight.
